I know there is a district in Curitiba by this name, so if the Notary is based in Curitiba it is quite likely that it is based in this district. I have just seen that a city of Portão-RS is also mentioned by a previous answerer, this could also be a possibility, but as the asker mentions there are others in town the Curitiba option is more likely - Portão/RS is probably a small town and only has one Registry Office (if any at all).
Cultural Note: The district of Portão is near Japão Square, a tourist spot for anyone who visits the pretty city of Curitiba.
