Since there are diverse translation possibilities for "manta", which one would be proper for "manta de fibra de vidro"? Fiberglass blanket? Coating?

Out of habit, I have spelled 'fibREglass' the traditional English way :)

It's standard industry terminology.

'Fibreglass coating' is something else entirely. Perhaps an applied liquid fibreglass resin - a type of paint? Check whether it fits within your context.
