Portuguese term or phrase: indexadores financeiros
Still on "Administração Financeira", another expression I came across was "indexadores financeiros". There's not much of a context around it. It's simply this phrase.

An option for translating that would be "financial indexes/indices". What do you say, my fellow translators? It sounds more like "índices financeiros", I know.

Does "financial indexers" make sense in this context?

Thank you!!

financial indexes
Explanation:
In your context, I think it simply means 'financial index'. The indicators are the components that make up the index.

Thank you very much for your help, Muriel! After having compared lost of information in different websites, I believe it is exactly like you said. I even found an expression in a glossary which had the word "indexadores". The expression is: "contrato de paridade de indexadores", and it was translated as "index parity contract". Again, thank you very much for your help!

Notes to answerer
Asker: Hi Manie! Thank you for your help. I believe in this case then it should be something else since "indexadores financeiros" doesn't imply anyone's job. I've just added a note.

Asker: I have just added some more context involving "indexadores financeiros" as a discussion entry.

I think the word "financial" could well be included, if the term is loose (out of a context).

"Financial indexers" are professionals specialized in financial indexing.

Asker: Hi Marlene! Thank you for your contribution as usual :) I am going to try to add a note to my question as a discussion entry so that I can clarify the context a little bit more. About your answer, "index indicators", I was wondering if the word "financial" should be included within this expression. Thank you!

Asker: Maybe "financial index indicators"? I am not completely sure yet though.

Asker: I have just added some more context involving "indexadores financeiros" as a discussion entry.
