Portuguese to English translations [PRO] Social Sciences - Education / Pedagogy / histórico escolar | | Portuguese term or phrase: considerado retido na 3ª serie | 'considerado retido na 3ª serie do ensino medio'.
This appears on a Brazilian school record and refers to a student. Is there a term for this in English? I understand it means that the student did not get good enough grades to be able to move onto the next grade and had to repeat the year. Is that right? It's to be translated to British English. Thanks for your help! |
