Portuguese to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Energy / Power Generation / Energy efficiency inspections
Portuguese term or phrase: ovação
I assume this means something like 'validatation'. Is someone familiar with this term? (The country is Mozambique.)

Igualmente, auditorias de eficiência energética serão efectuadas regularmente ao parque comercial e industrial do país, assim como aos serviços e instituições governamentais e públicas, para efeitos de **ovação** das licenças de operação, dos incentivos e dos benefícios fiscais previamente concedidos.

Explanation:
aclamação pública - Grande Dicionário da Língua Portuguesa.

The same word, ovation, e.g. standing ovation, exists in EN but with a more limited meaning. Nevertheless the use of the term in this context in PT is a bit strained.
