Portuguese term or phrase: pervitido [pervertido]

Source: transcription of a folk artist from Alagoas talking about his work. His language is colorful, poetic, and often obscure. I am attempting to separate his own idioletic usage from possible regionalisms.

Whoever did the transcription also found the term peculiar, as s/he wrote after the word "pervitido": "[estranho??]

Are you familiar with this as a regionalism?

"É, quando eu vejo a madeira assim, o tronco, já tô sabendo o desenho, já sei o que eu vou fazer. Eu vou trabalhar e a minha mente é quem chama, eu olho o que eu vou fazer com atenção. Eu já nasci com a mente assim. Toda vida eu fui meio PERVITIDO".
