Portuguese to English translations [PRO]
Art/Literary - Idioms / Maxims / Sayings / Possible regionalism
Portuguese term or phrase: bizunga
Source: transcription of a folk artist from Pernambuco talking about his work. His language is colorful, poetic, and often obscure. I am attempting to separate his own idioletic usage from possible regionalisms. (There are no illustrations available.)

Transcription mistake? I cannot locate this term in any dictionary.

“Essa mata tem tudo o quanto é bom, eu mostrei tanta BIZUNGA, tanto biquinho de passarinho... É uma história que vou deixando aqui, depois vão ser recolhido num museu, porque daqui dez, vinte ano a criança não vai saber se existe isso aqui... “

Asker: I just received an email from a colleague, stating that it's an Alagoan term for "hummingbird," but without your wonderful link. Thanks so much!
