the tricky word here seems to be "eventual", but a suggestion for the whole string will be much appreciated ;-)

Veja como o Aurélio define "eventual":

[De evento + -ual.]
Adj. 2 g.
1. Que depende de acontecimento incerto; casual, fortuito, acidental.

Compare com os significados que dá o Webster's para "occasional", especialmente o de número 4:

occasional (e kaze nel; often o kA-)
adj.
1 occurring on a particular occasion
2 of or for a special occasion [occasional verse]
3 acting only on special occasions
4 of irregular occurrence; happening now and then; infrequent
5 designating chairs, tables, etc. intended for occasional or auxiliary use
6 being an occasion (n. 2)

Aqui vai a definição de "contingent liability", segundo o Merriam Webster's Dictionary of Law: "an amount that may or may not be owed depending on the outcome of a contingency (as a cosigner's default on a loan).
civil liability = liability imposed under civil laws and civil process as distinguished from criminal laws; also: the state of being subject to civil sanctions (as restitution of damages)

Algumas outras:
strict liability = liability that is imposed without a finding or fault (as negligence or intent).

responsabilidade civil legal = strict liability

depending on your context, the other can be breach of implied warranty or negligence

more context would help

this is for Tort Law

Responsabilidad Civil is Liability...the Legal is Strict

meaning as defined in the Law or Contract..there is no eventual in English

Enventual in Portuguese can be Possible

Possible Liability for something

so it would be better if you posted the Whole Sentence
