Odd that the VERB faleceu does not match the noun (filhos), unless you assume it refers to nº, but that would imply, based on the deponent's self-correction, that all the children had died.
Maybe this means child #2, rather #3 has died...
(which in fact is correct, the youngest child did die), but the next part (o terceiro está vivo, residindo no Brasil) contradicts that (even though it is wrong).
