There is a regular term of this. It means something similar to probabionary period, period for disputes, etc. I cannot recall the term at this moment. It is something that sounds natural - not "contestable"

Here is the context:

Por favor, forneça o número de sinistros divididos por tempo de vigência no momento do sinistro. Se a apólice inclui um período contestável, inclua uma lista de sinistros contestáveis e não-contestáveis.

Explanation:
Commonly used in the life insurance industry. Basically, if they don't discover a problem within the relevant period of time, they can't object later.
