As mentioned yesterday in the discussion box, 'lucros' cannot be reliably translated without more context.

Although 'loss of anticipated earnings' "only" get around 6700 Ghits, that doesn't mean it's not a better option in Asker's context, which we are not privy to, than alternatives with a hundred times more Ghits.
