Portuguese term or phrase: F. (abbreviation)
Just the letter "F" appearing before the names of individials (but not companies) who appear in the contract. Probably something really obvious, but I've never seen it before ....

Se são minuats desse tipo de documentos, o tal "F" pode bem ser a abreviatura de "fulano de tal" no sentido de quem preencher a procuração ou o contrato, escrever/indicar nesse lugar os nomes das pessoas participanyes na procuração e/ou contrato.

Isto é tudo o que me ocorre, em função das informações que nos está a dar até ao momento.

Although the usual assumption would be that F stands for "signature", in this case I think António's second suggestion ("Fulano de tal") must be the right one. However, I couldn't find any proof in any dictionary, list of accepted abbreviations etc. Maybe it's something specific to Angolan legal douments ....
There isn't much of a translation solution for it either, except the letter "x" or the phrase "name to ne supplied".
Thanks very much for everyone's help.
