Portuguese term or phrase: será o prazo para aquele cumprimento protelado

What I really need is an explanation rather than a translation for the phrase in-between ***. It's making my head spin as I can't seem to make sense of it.

Many thanks in advance

the deadline will be postponed
Explanation:
Basically it means the deadline (prazo) for compliance (cumprimento) will be postponed (protelado) for a period of time equal to the delay (atraso) caused by a force majeure event.

E.g. if an event causes a delay of, say, 3 weeks and this is proven to be force majeure, the deadline will be postponed by 3 weeks.

I hope this helps.
