Portuguese term or phrase: auto de notícia
Auto de notícia is a procedural act similar to prosecution (auto de acusação), only it is not rendered/handled by the Prosecutor's Office (Ministério Público) but by another public authority, such as a government department.

If possible, I´m looking for different alternatives from what's already listed in proz as I'm not so sure those terms fit the definition.
