I noticed recently that this has been turning up in Brazilian documents, must be a new bureaucratic requirement. I got the suggested translation from another colleague and from a presentation on court interpreting.
In other contexts, can be Inspector General, Office of Internal Affairs [investigates other judges, law enforcers], or “review board”
