[by virtue of being in a] demonstrative construction Explanation: I'm not sure if the morpheme by itself is demonstrative, so I'd recommend sticking closer to the original. Thus, the morpheme, by virtue of being in a demonstrative construction, takes on two grammatical functions, resulting in a blended form that signifies both the possessive and the demonstrative. |
