I'd like to know how I can say "contrato fiduciário" in English. The term, if I'm not wrong, belongs to Greimasian Semiotics.
I've seen the term trust deed, but I think it does not apply to semiotics.

I'm rusty on this, but certainly Greimas uses the notion of contract between the signifier and the signified - the idea that we all agree that a certain lexeme is going to mean the same thing. I believe this notion traces back to Grice's cooperative principle, which assumes that in society there is an implicit contract whereby people agree to try to make themselves understood (the speaker)/understand (the listener). This accounts for why people usually understand statements that are inherently ambiguous.
