Portuguese term or phrase: preencher
A tradução do verbo "preencher" nesta frase (entre colchetes) é "to fill" ou, nesse caso, seria melhor "to complete".
Outra coisa: posso usar apenas a forma simples do verbo ou tenho q usar o "to".

Feliz 2011!

Notes to answerer

neutral  Jana Zajicova: I am afraid you misunderstood the source text. The meaning of PREENCHER here is TO BE COMPLETED (i.e. the word PREENCHER should be replaced with the name of the position.

to be filled out

Explanation:
To be filled out = trata-se de uma instrução orientando a pessoa que tal espaço deve ser preenchido com a posição a ser ocupada pelo empregado.

Não importa o tamanho do espaço, a expressão é sempre a mesma, ou seja, to fill out (a space).

Notes to answerer
Exs.: To be filled out by the employee; to be filled out online; to be filled out monthly; to be filled out and returned (with something; to somebody etc.) Obrigada.

position applied for

Explanation:
also: job applied for:
This would be what the employer wants. By stating the position applied for the employer and employee agree to the rest of the contract. ''Yes you applied to be a barman but the contract states that... if there is some cleaning or cooking to do that this is part of your duties'', just as an example.
