Very nice. I think you are heading in the right direction and this may be it. Then the 25mm would refer to the maximum jacking, obviously. And since a common translation of "levantamento" is "elevation" it all makes sense.

Aha! Just found something "Braking and jacking System: Braking assists big machines to minimize bearing wear by restricting protracted slow running before stopping. Jennifer, I just did a quick search of possible different definitions of "frenagem" on the Internet, and I could not find anything to support "extinguishing". At first blush, I agree with you that "braking" and "detection" don't sound like they go hand in hand. However, if as a result of the detection system, automatic braking or stoppage takes place, then it tends ot make sense. It might be something along the lines of an integrated slow=down or braking or stoppage and detection system, with the detection being the cause of this stoppage, etc. It is an idea.
