What Is It? Phosphate-Coated Modular Integrated-Deck (MID) Wet Sleeve
Why You Need It: Increase the displacement of your motor to 400 ci or your stroked motor to 472 ci. The wet-sleeve system allows multiple reuse of the block by installing new wet sleeves as needed if you detonate a piston or damage your bore. A phosphate coating deters sleeve rust, and the wet-sleeve design keeps the engine block running cool. There is also a step-by-step setup guide online, including great instructions on how to deck your block. This wet-sleeve kit accommodates a 4.125-4.200-inch bore and strokes from 3.622 to 4.250.Applications: '98-'02 and '04 LS1, '05-'06 LS2
