Depois de realizada antissepsia intra e extra-bucal com auxílio de lâmina de bisturi no 15, foi realizada uma incisão sobre a crista do rebordo maxilar da região de primeiro molar esquerdo a primeiro molar direito associada a incisão relaxante na região entre os incisivos centrais. Todo o tecido mucoperiostal foi rebatido em direção ao fundo de vestíbulo com a ajuda do descolador de Molt, com a intenção de expor o remanescente ósseo.
