Portuguese term or phrase: tempo de carência
É o tempo que os planos de saúde geralmente estipulam para que o usuário possa começar a utilizar os serviços médicos; o tempo decorrido entre a contratação do plano e o efetivo uso do mesmo.
Ex: O tempo de carência de meu plano de saúde é de 30 dias, ou seja, somente a partir do 31o dia é que poderei de fato utilizar os serviços médicos.
