I can't see any other option in this context. To answer your question, while score lines usually mean the tablet can be split, this is not always the case.
Take a recent Swiss study, for instance, which found that 2.7% of all scored tablets (and over 10% of hospital-only medicines supplied as scored tablets) should
not be split under any circumstances! In many of these cases, the scoring was purely decorative (a dangerous practice, if you ask me).
