All patients recieved a bolus and continuous infusion of sufentanil. Induction of anaesthesia was performed with propofol. Anaesthesia was maintained with a continuous infusion of sufentanil and sevoflurane. The last one was increased or decreased to maintain the BIS between 40 and 60."
