Ele (klimo, 1998) encontrou 3 clusters no grupo de 110 sujeitos. Cluster 1, formado por indivíduos com baixa atividade mediúnica e baixos índices no DES (Dissociative Experience Scale) e no DES-T (Pathological Dissciative Class/Táxon). O DES-T compõe-se de 8 ítens do DES, indicadores da dissociação patológica (Waller, Putnam & Carlson, 1996). Cluster 2 formado por indivíduos com atividade mediúnica intermediária e altos índices de DES e DES-T. Cluster 3, formado por indivíduos de alta atividade mediúnica e índices intermediários no DES e no DES-T. Ele constatou que altos índices no DES e no DES-T eram indicadores de psicopatologia, e que a atividade mediúnica não patológica estava associada a índices intermediários destes dois índices.
