In other words, 'contrast radiology' is not really the opposite of 'simple radiology', even though the terms are sometimes paired.
'Simple vs. non-simple' would be 'plain film' vs. CT, MRI, and other more sophisticated procedures. Typically these other procedures use a contrast medium, but they don't have to - and some of the newest ones don't use contrast at all.
