Portuguese term or phrase: Proper names of Groups, Bands, and events like regional parties
Please,
I would like to know if I must translate the names of Groups which aren't well known outside my country, for example: Carnival Troupes, Regional Bands etc. I am translating a text about regional events, like parties of my state and city, and I found names of parties like São João, São Pedro, Santo Antonio, "Vassourinhas", "Toureiros", "Lenhadores" which are well known carnival groups in my city. Should I translate then or they can remain in Portuguese?.
Thank you
Lukka

Leave them in Portuguese, followed by a translation between parentheses)
Explanation:
II think this is the best approach, translating names never works well. Keep the original name and offer a translation between parentheses.
