According to Wikipedia, "Catering is the business of providing foodservice at a remote site." This is not the case here. The food in these "serviços de alimentação coletiva" is served on site. I found "food service" (The foodservice (or food service) industry (US English; catering industry in British English) encompasses those places, institutions, and companies responsible for any meal prepared outside the home. This industry includes restaurants, school and hospital cafeterias, catering operations, and many other formats, Wikipedia), to be the term I was looking for.
