Portuguese to English translations [PRO]
Other / abbreviation in birth certificate

Portuguese term or phrase: R. d. C. R. F.

This appears towards the bottom of a birth certificate from Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul), below "O referido é verdade e dou fé" and above the name and signature of the registrar. It doesn't appear to correspond to any other series of words in the certificate. Any ideas? I'm guessing the first two letters might stand for "Registro de" but have no idea what the other letters could stand for.

Asker: Thanks for the suggestion, Marlene. However, there is no indication on this birth certificate that the Conselho Regional de Farmácia had anything to do with its issuance. It is just a standard birth certificate, and the client is not in the medical profession. Best regards, Martin
