Portuguese term or phrase: stakeholder v shareholder

Not sure if this is the correct forum for this query, if not, my apologies.
I am seeing increasingly the term 'stakeholder' (even in portuguese docs), where I would usually use 'shareholder'. Is there a technical difference within normal business terminology?
