Portuguese term or phrase: com base nele
Hello everyone! Could someone help me figure out what "com base nele" means in this context? The Portuguese in this document I am translating is simply atrocious!

Thank you very much!

This translation is about eyeglass lenses by the way.

Here's the "lovely" context:

"Comercial bem-feito, mas dificilmente trocariria as lentes que uso por mais de década com** base nele**.

Explanation:
Hi Mary, it appears to refer to an advertisement which the speaker sees as "well done" (comercial bem feito). Basically, he says that the ad is good, but whatever type of lens he is currently wearing is better than those of the ad, therefore, he would not replace his ones with those of the advertisement.

Explanation:
Well, I believe that "com base nele" refers to the comercial. Even though it is a good commercial, it won't make the client change his eyeglass. I suppose that re-writing the paragraph should be a good option.

But if you want to maintain the structure, I suggest you use "considering it", so maintain the reference to the commercial.
