jackscrews Explanation: Esse flange será soldado a um tubo, e provavelmente será preso a um outro flange quando se for montar a tubulação inteira. Os jackscrews são parafusos que servem para afastar os dois flanges numa desmontagem. Imagino que, dependendo da disposição dos componentes, eles possam ficar um em cada flange. Se eles não ficarem diametralmente opostos, na hora de desmontar poderão entortar um flange em relação ao outro, encavalando o conjunto e tornando a desmontagem impossível. Explicando melhor: o jackscrew (que eu chamo de parafuso extrator) tem um furo rosqueado numa peça, e encontra uma face cega na outra que se quer afastar. Quando se parafusa, ele afasta uma da outra. |
