Portuguese term or phrase: atirar às ventas

From a literary text (European Portuguese):

a couple are having an argument...

-Não ouves, não vês, não dás continuidade a nada, não tens pertinácia, não tens humildade, és uma perdulária, uma inepta.
-Náo tenho dinheiro para te atirar às ventas, é o que tu queres dizer.

I'm not sure what 'atirar às ventas' mean in this context. Does it mean that she would throw him out if she could afford it? Any suggestions gratefully received!

Na realidade, visto que se trata de uma tradição literária, penso que se devem manter as expressões idiomáticas, mesmo as de calão.
“Atirar às ventas”, é calão para “atirar à cara”
Também se pode dizer “Atirar à fuça (ou fuças), igualmente calão.
Neste caso eu diria, para manter o vernáculo:
“I don’t have money to throw at your snout that’s what you mean!

I’m sorry, I wrote in Portuguese. It is a slang expression. While the husband insults her, she answers what he really means (with all the insulting) is that she has no money to give him, but in a slang way. “I don’t have money to throw at your snout that’s what you mean!”
