Portuguese to English translations [PRO]
Art/Literary - Religion / buddhism, spirituality
Portuguese term or phrase: a bem-aventurança é de regra
In a text containing various conversations relating primarily to Buddhism and Eastern religions.

A nossa geração começou por querer fazer a revolução no exterior de si.
Hoje qualquer jovem sabe por si mesmo que **a bem-aventurança é de regra** e vive nela.

I'm pondering the best translation of bem-aventurança here, would 'bliss' work? So far I've considered blessedness, beatitude and happiness as well. And what to do with 'de regra'? Anything connected with 'to be the rule' don't seem to be right - I'm wondering if it could loosely be translated as 'is what matters', but would welcome other suggestions if I'm on the wrong track.

thanks in advance

Explanation:
It is my recollection that the English equivalent of "bem-aventurado" is normally "blessed". See an English translation of the New Testament Sermon on the Mount.
