This is my attempt - I'm not happy with it: "In optimising the sum of the relevance of all the rules, priority is given to the transmission of information from the rules - not necessarily neighbours – which could be absorbed at any moment in large numbers, and that bear similarity, via the adaptation of the membership functions (rules) of the 1st model. In this way, the input space membership functions can shift and adapt their shapes so as to maximise the absorption of information from f2, but without running the risk of remaining trapped in a local minimum." I am having particular problems with the bit in CAPITALS: Any help will be much appreciated.
