Portuguese term or phrase: zero bala

I have to translate a phrase from Portuguese and I don't know the language. I suppose it's general Brazilian or Portuguese slang but cannot be sure. Any help would be helpful. The whole phrase is:

O patrao quer todo mundo
como se fosse zero bala.

I suppose patrao in this case is patron as in a bar or club patron but cannot be sure of that either.

Please help!
