Portuguese to English translations [PRO] Medical - Sports / Fitness / Recreation / neuroscience | | Portuguese term or phrase: mal da idade | "Dificuldade dos adolescentes em se concentrar é 'mal da idade', segundo pesquisa da College London."
I thought about "it's an age-characteristic problem", or "it's related to age", but I'm not sure. Any suggestions?
Thanks. |

| | age problem | Explanation: In fact it's somewhat more incisive than "related to age", since it indicates to be due to age. However "mal da idade" is a classic idiom in Portuguese. for which there is no correspondent in English. The reason is that the use of "mal" is a somewhat exaggerated.
