Transport / Transportation / Shipping / Store restocking process
Portuguese term or phrase: "dia de venda"
From a guide to store restocking processes - describing re-ordering process PT (BR) > EN (UK)

O período de análise determina quantos dias de histórico serão utilizados para calcular o DDV (dia de venda).

Could it be as simple as "Sales Day" or "Day of Sale(s)? I need to know for sure as it appears in a lot of formulae and calculations.

Thanks!!

date of purchase

Explanation:
"Date of purchase" seems the most recommendable formal option for the context of restocking, although "date of sale" or "sale date" are also used and understood.

Explanation:
e.g.,

The credit card voucher should show:
your name and address;
the charge made, including VAT; and
the date of sale.
http://customs.hmrc.gov.uk/channelsPortalWebApp/channelsPort...

Any returns after 7 days from date of sale will be offered a refund or replacement if the product is deemed faulty, non faulty returned goods are honored with a credit note to the value - 10% restocking charge.

In addition, if you enter into a service contract with the SmartVM.co.uk within 90 days of the date of sale, the limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts does not apply to you.

Asker: Many thanks Lisa - normally, of course, I would check with the client - in this particular case I couldn't. All the very best! :)
