Portuguese term or phrase:graneis solidos
I am revising an English text about a new port in ... where else, Portugal. Part of the title has not been translated, and I find myself faced with "Terminal de graneis solidos". The text also refers to "solid grain, liquid grain, and container dealing [sic!] capacities", but I have a feeling we don't actually say "solid grain" and "liquid grain" in English, certainly not when referring to cereals.
I don't speak Portuguese but have a feeling the term "graneis solidos" refers to more than just cereals (grains of sand, granules of chemicals, etc.). But what does it mean exactly, and what would ""graneis liquidos" be? TALIA for any enlightenment.

Just to clear out some ideas, you may use solid/liquid bulk terminal if description is required in descriptive texts. Sometimes, you have to use oil terminal, wine terminal or other if it is a terminal/pier/port for specific cargo. Bulk or Chemical is the generic names used when the terminal/port permits multiple types of solid/liquid bulk cargo. In Portugal, the number of ports for specific cargo loading/discharging are very few. Generically they serve different cargo uses (containers, bulk, RO-RO, fishing, etc.). I can remember the Port of Sines which works only with tanker vessels, i.e. chemical/oil products.

One other thing to differentiate these two:
bulkers dock (usually) alongside a pier and tankers alongside a jetty equipped with hoses and pipelines that go directly to silos or buyer premises.
