não sei se este caso acontece na França/Europa. Aqui, quando você tem títulos (notas promissórias, por exemplo), seu banco pode adiantar a entrada do valor, descontando taxas pelo adiantamento. Assim a empresa/comerciante ... tem um capital adiantado e o banco receberá o dinheiro na data de vencimento do título. Espero ter ajudado com a explicação.
Tenho certeza mas não sei dizer em francês.
