Die Glasmosaiksteine sind ziemlich klein und werden, damit man nicht jedes Steinchen extra verlegen muss, als Platten (z.B. 40 x 40 cm) auf Kunststoffnnetz geliefert.
(Wir haben unseren Pool selbstgebaut..)

"Kunststoffgewebe" scheint noch geläufiger zu sein: http://www.braun-fliesen.com/mosaikfliesen.html
"Matte" geht irgendwie nicht, weil es sich um ganz feine Fäden handelt, damit man nicht soviel Fliesenkleber verbraucht.
