"matar a saudade" in Brasile non necessariamente si usa letteralmente, piuttosto significa stare con qualcuno col quale non si sta da tempo o fare qualcosa che non si fa da tempo
ex: matar a saudade dos amigos=stare con gli amici
matar a saudade do feijão=mangiar fagioli perché era da un pò di tempo che non li si mangiava
non significa quindi sconfiggere o vincere la nostalgia
