La majoritatea exemplarelor reconstituite olanele s-au fracturat pe zona de îmbinare a măştii presate în tipar cu imbrexul lucrat separat, datorită îmbinării lor deficitare cu lut. S-a constatat, de asemenea, că piesele nu au fost finisate atent după extragerea din mulaj. Pe suprafaţa lor există resturi de lut rămase accidental pe parcursul manipulării, iar în anumite zone sunt vizibile urmele amprentelor digitale ale olarului.
