Asker: Traducerea ta sună foarte bine, dar mă intreb de ce ai ales "imbued with" şi nu "perfumed with"...

agree  Peter Shortall: Jos pălăria! Prefer prima variantă pentru că nu piesele, ci baiţul este proaspăt (woodstain and/or wood can be "fresh", certainly, but I'm not sure if chess pieces can be). I do envy the asker this text!
