Romanian to English translations [PRO] Science - Chemistry; Chem Sci/Eng | | Romanian term or phrase: acid tazobactam aminosulfinic | Nu am un context neapărat relevant - este vorba despre un produs de degradare detectat în studiile de stabilitate pentru un medicament.
Mulţumesc anticipat. |

| | Sulfamic acid | Explanation: daca intrebarea mai prezinta interes,
am lasat tazobactamul la o parte....numai bine!
Sulfamic acid, also known as amidosulfonic acid, amidosulfuric acid, aminosulfonic acid, and sulfamidic acid, is a molecular compound with the formula H3NSO3. This colorless, water-soluble compound finds many applications.
Sulfamic acid (H3NSO3) may be considered an intermediate compound between sulfuric acid (H2SO4), and sulfamide (H4N2SO2), effectively - though see below - replacing an -OH group with an -NH2 group at each step. This pattern can extend no further in either direction without breaking down the -SO2 group.

| Reference: tazobactam
Reference information: Tazobactam is a compound which inhibits the action of bacterial beta-lactamases. It is added to the extended spectrum beta-lactam antibiotic piperacillin to produce Tazocin or Zosyn or Piprataz (manufactured by Gepach International). It broadens the spectrum of piperacillin by making it effective against organisms that express beta-lactamase and would normally degrade piperacillin.
Tazobactam sodium is a derivative of the penicillin nucleus and is a penicillanic acid sulfone.
