agree  Peter Shortall: It seems that ULIM teaches students to "bacalaureat" level (ciclul liceal) prior to further study if they didn't do a bac at school (there are other types of school cert. in Mol). Explained here: http://istorie.ulim.md/downloads/Curriculum_RI_Bologna.pdf
