Explanation:
Este de obicei foarte dificil de tradus un obicei ce tine strict de cultura si religia unui anumit grup (popor), la fel cum este imposibil de tradus un nume propriu. Intrucat Rusaliile au mai fost traduse aici pe ProZ si reprezinta in sine "Pogorarea Sf. Duh", m-as hazarda sa traduc prin Pentecost' Run. Daca contextul permite se poate explica intr-o paranteza mai multe despre obicei pentru a inlesni intelegerea.

In traditia populara, Rusaliile sunt niste fiinte fantastice, malefice, asemanatoare ielelor, care umbla prin vazduh incepand cu ziua de Strat de Rusalii (miercuri, a 25-a zi dupa Pasti) si provoaca mult rau oamenilor: ii pocesc, ii schimonosesc si ii innebunesc pe toti cei care nu le respecta zilele.

Goana Rusaliilor este un ritual care avea drept scop inlaturarea demonilor. Ceata fecioarelor era alcatuita in numar fara sot si cuprindea fete cu varsta cuprinsa intre opt si paisprezece ani
