Aş păstra şi denumirea din română. Aceeaşi tradiţie se păstrează şi în comunităţi ortodoxe din Australia sau SUA.

An interesting sidelight is the folk tradition related to the Saturday of Lazarus. In many places groups of children visit neighbouring homes to sing the Carols of Lazarus. In return, thepeople of the house give the children fresh eggs. The children bringthe eggs to their homes. On Great Thursday the eggs are boiled in the traditional red dye for the Paschal celebration.
