Din pacate cred ca in Romania termenul termopan este extins sa includa si intelesul de tamplarie! de cate ori nu auzi: mi-am pus termopane... insemnind ferestre cu geamuri termopane.
Dex-ul spune ca acest cuv vine din engl, de la thermo-pan, tot ce e posibil, dar iti spun sincer ca nu am auzit niciodata nici un englez (sau reclama/firma) folosind acest termen.
se poate referi la usi care au si geam! In Anglia cam toate usile au si geam... si atunci sunt double glazed multi-layered wood doors sau, daca nu au geam, sunt doar multi-layered wood doors!
este ca nu e vorba numai de ferestre, ci spune si de usile exterioare ca ar fi "termopan pe lemn stratificat" si cele interioare din lemn masiv, ceea ce mi se pare aiurea, da in fine... Sunt de acord cu double glazing la ferestre, dar la usi?...

Avand in vedere toate cele de mai sus, cred ca se poate folosi Thermopane, care oricum nu e altceva decat "insulated glass".
Daca folosim "insulated glass", acest tip de sticla este format din "two sheets of glass", deci nu e nevoie sa mai folosim "two" sau "dual" sau "double".
Termopanul se refera doar la sticla, astfel incat cadrul (trim) poate fi din materiale diverse, in acest caz "lemn stratificat" (laminated wood).
