Dacă este vorba de un domeniu umanist, atunci e mai bine să foloseşti academic în loc de scientific. La noi şi pentru un congres de lingvistică sau literatură, de exemplu, se foloseşte tot termenul ştiinţific, dar cred că în engleză nu merge.
